PENGALAMAN TEMUDUGA BAHASA INGGERIS

Hei, assalamualaikum guys. Good morning.

This is my first post on blog so ermm.. malunya! ><  Aku bahasakan aku macik lah yer. Biar rasa kekeluargaan tu sikit. So, anyone who is interested to know me better can check out my profile. Takde la banyak mana pun info pasal macik kat situ. Cukup la tahu yang macik ni pompuan dan macik akan campur2 dan rojak2kan bahasa malaysia dengan bahasa inggeris. Bukan sebab macik belagak pandai tapi macik nak cuba speaking2 London, okeyhh.

So, long story shorted. Alkisahnya macik dapat interview call from USM in accounting course by message and email. Masa dapat tau tu Ya Allah berdebarnya macik rasa!! macik tak pernah kena interview sebelum ni. So this interview was my very first time. My hand started to cold and freeze. I was shivering as i'm in a fridge.



Macik tak nak pergiiii. Tapi macik jerit dalam hati je. Macik takut sangat. Yela, macik kan perempuan. Complicated! I'm so not confident in this interview. For your information, the interview was held in bulan puasa and at Penang. So.. you know.. the-you-who-are-not-confident, the far away interview place, the fasting month, the cost and the parents who you'll burden. Jadi, macik tak semangat langsung to go on.

But macik still told ibu and abah about the interview. They both were happy and shocked at the same time. The interview date was 4-5 days away! Sempat ke nak buat preparation apa semua?? Lepas kena pujuk oleh ibu untuk pegi je interview tu, macik pun dengan berat hati dan kaki prepare all the document needed. Fuh, nak prepare all these documents punya la banyak cabaran sebab macik ni jenis cuai. Tapi no worry, macik is not going to story all that.

Again, long story shorted. We checked-in hotel. Macik was not doing any preparations to face the interviewers at all until the night before the interview. Macik tetiba nervous. Macik dah ingat nak jawab cincai2 je. Tapi macik search jugak Uncle Gugel pasal pemakaian and adab masa interview.

1. Pakaian kemas. Boboi pakai kemeja, seluar slack hitam, kasut hitam kilat dan rambut belah tengah. Rambut belah tengah tu tipu je. Rambut asal kemas je oke. Gegirl pakai baju kurung, kasut hitam bertumit, tudung biasa2 je. Bawal. Jangan belit2 sangat. Nak mekap pun simple2 je.

2. Ketuk pintu, bagi salam or greeting good morning ke ape ke.

3. Serahkan fail yang dah letak all the documents. Jangan letak dalam plastik!! sebab macik letak dalam plastik and interviewer tu tegur macik jangan buat macam ni dah.

4. Duduk bila disuruh. Jangan gabra sangat tau.

Lepas macik daftar nama kat kaunter tu, dapat la nombor bilik dan borang yang kena diisi. Korang jangan jadi tunggul kayu pulak time waiting your number called. Buat la kawan dengan sape2 yang dekat. Macik got a new friend named exactly like macik's. We chatted a lot. Bersembang can reduce your nervousness.

Tetiba pulak si kawan ni kata this interview gonna be held in english! Macik was NOOOOO!! TAK NAK!! Tapi macik buat2 tenang padahal dalam kepala macik "Aku nak goreng apa ni?? dalam bahasa inggeris." Macik dah makin blur sebab sel2 otak macik dah tak berfungsi. Tapi macik dah tawakkal.

Macik entered the interview room with 3 others candidates. Macik was the first to be asked to introduce ourselves.

"First of all, assalamualaikum wbt. My name bla bla. I live at bla bla.."

Macik speaking simple2 je. Asal diorang faham. Macik tergagap2 toksah kira la. Terbelit-belit lidah macik. Tapi the interviewers tu dengar je. Senyum je. DORANG TAK PANDANG RENDAH PUN KAT MACIK. SABAR JE dengar macik speaking london ni.

Banyak jgk la diorang tanya. Macik ade la jugak campur2 english and malay. Diorang tak kisah pun. Janji kita confident jawab. The key is confident.

Jadi kesimpulannya kat sini:

1. Kaji pasal universiti tersebut. Interviewers tanya macik pasal USM, macik tak dapat jawab langsung. Macik just jujur, "Im sorry that i dont know about this."

2. Tunjukkan korang minat untuk course tersebut. Macik langsung tak menunjukkan sebarang minat. But one of the candidates, an Indian girl, cried during the interview. In Macik view, she showed a lot of interest and Macik confident that she will be accepted.

3. Be the first one to answer the questions. Interviewers will ask questions and anyone can answer first. The first one answered showed more interest, right? The indian girl also the first to answer and react.

4. Always smiling! Ia boleh gegarkan iman interviewers. Haha. Gurau. Senyum je lah. Percuma je.

5. Jangan menipu. Jawab soalan dengan jujur lebih mudah dan senang. Kalau korang menipu kan susah nak belit. Bila jujur, nonsense answer pun dorang terima. YOUR ANSWER IS NOT WRONG OR TRUE.

Itu je yang macik mampu kongsikan. Macik belum dapat lagi result interview. Macik not expect to much because Macik dont really like Mamak. Hehe.. so Penang is not a place to Macik to be. If korang nak tanya apa2 tanya je. Insyaallah macik akan jawab.
